SAFE UNADULTERATED AND HONESTLY PRESENTED
Multiple ice cream bars in the ice cream freezer were misshapen, suggesting the possibility of temperature abuse. I pointed this out to one of the PICs, and they pulled all misshapen ice cream bars from sale during the inspection, and had the owner contact the ice cream company to have the bars replaced.
Correction: Discard unsafe, adulterated or not honestly presented food items.

MAINTAINING PREMISES, UNNECESSARY ITEMS AND LITTER
A coffee machine that was not in use was present on a shelf on the retail floor. When one of the PICs explained that they are not going to be serving coffee, I told them that the coffee machine needs to be removed from the premises, and the PIC indicated that they understood.
Correction: Items that are unnecessary to the operation of the food establishment shall be removed from the premise.
