Another packaged of raw shell eggs was observed with a best by date of October 02, 2026. The PIC was informed these eggs were not past their best by date, the PIC chose to discard those eggs as well regardless. The PIC corrected the violation during inspection.

Observed improperly chocolate bars for sale. The label for the bars said had no information regarding ingredients, production information, allergens, or nutritional information. The PIC was informed that the bars would need this label information and that these bars would need to be ceased from sale until properly labeled ones could be obtained. Additionally, unpackaged frozen food was located in the upright display freezer outside of a box. The PIC was informed that unpackaged frozen foods that are not individually labeled cannot be sold as they are not properly labeled according to federal standards. The PIC removed the bars after they were informed and held them from sale.
Correction: Comply with federal standards of identity requirements for packaged foods, discontinue sale of improperly labeled chocolate bars and unlabled frozen foods.
