WIPING CLOTHS - USE LIMITATION - CLOTHS FOR WIPING COUNTERS STORED IN SANITIZER
The red buckets of sanitizer were tested at 100ppm of quat. A cloth towel is used for wiping that is stored in the bucket. Possibly the condition of "quat binding" is occuring where the type of cloth used is absorbing some of the quat, causing the solutions to test below the minimum required, 200ppm.
Correction: Cloths used for wiping counters and equipment shall be stored in a sanitizing solution in between uses at 200-400ppm. Suggest changing to a different type cloth used and switch to a micro fiber type cloth. Can also try, at the start of the day, fill the bucket and place the cloth in the solution, let sit for a couple of minutes, dump the quat solution out and refill with fresh quat solution.
