      CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS - REQUIREMENT

The sleeping area most left of the building is surrounded by 2 different rooms in which could be a source for carbon monoxide. The sleeping area is surrounded by a lounging room as well as a bathroom leading to the rest of the house. There is a carbon monoxide detector in the lounging area, but because the location of this sleeping area is located in a way that potentially can introduce carbon monoxide from 2 different directions, a carbon monoxide detector is required to be installed outside of the sleeping area in the bathroom as well.

Correction: Provide a carbon monoxide detector outside of the sleeping area, in the bathroom.

      CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS - EXPIRATION

2 carbon monoxide detectors were not replaced per manufacturer's directions. The carbon monoxide detector outside the bedroom connected to the kitchen, as well as the carbon monoxide detector in the lounging room, outside of the far left sleeping area, are expired and need to be replaced.

Correction: Replace the expired carbon monoxide detectors located outside the bedroom connected to the kitchen, and the lounging area outside the far left sleeping area.
