CITY OF HAYWARD SAWYER COUNTY, WISCONSIN BOARD OF REVIEW Thursday, May 14, 2026 9:00 am – 11:00 am CITY HALL - 15889 W 3rd Street, Hayward WI 54843 AGENDA Call to Order Roll Call Confirmation of appropriate Board of Review and Open Meetings Notices Verification that a member has met the mandatory training requirements Receipt of Assessment Roll – Certified by Assessor / Verify Open Book Changes are included in the Assessment Roll Assessor – Review of major class comparisons; assessment / sales ratio analysis; level of assessment During the first two hours, consideration of: a. Waivers of the required 48-hour notice of intent to file an objection, when there is good cause b. Requests for waiver of the Board of Review hearing allowing the property owner to appeal directly to the circuit court c. Requests to testify by telephone or submit a sworn written statement d. Subpoena requests, and e. Act on any other legally allowed / required Board of Review matters Hear / Deliberate on Objections which were filed at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of the first day in session of the Board of Review If applicable: Schedule Objection Hearings for objections filed during the first two hours in session; provided acceptable good cause for failure to meet the 48-hour notice requirement is shown.
