Town Board Minutes 1-21-2026

Town of Mukwonago Town Board Minutes Wednesday, January 21, 2026 Chairman Topczewski called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Chairman stated the meeting was properly noticed. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Chairman Topczewski, Supervisors Boucher, Clabault, Wrasman and Yerke. Also present: Kathy Karalewitz, Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer; Fire Chief Stien and Attorney John Macy. PUBLIC COMMENTS Chairman Topczewski asked if there was anyone who wished to speak to the board. No one wished to speak. FINANCE/PERSONNEL MONTHLY BILLS Motion by Supervisor Wrasman, second by Chairman Topczewski to approve the monthly bills. All ayes. PROTECTIVE SERVICES – FIRE DEPARTMENT ON-SITE AND IN TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION OF WHOLE BLOOD This item is on hold. PAID-ON-CALL/PAID-ON-PREMISE PAY RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC ONLY POP CLASSIFICATION Motion by Supervisor Boucher, second by Supervisor Yerke to approve the paid-on-call premise pay rates and classifications and critical care paramedic only POP classification retroactive to 1- 1-2026. All ayes. STRYKER STAIR CHAIR FOR FEMA AFG GRANT Motion by Supervisor Boucher, second by Supervisor Wrasman to approve the purchase of the Stryker Stair Chair purchase for FEMA AFG grant for the fire department in the amount of $54,545.58 with payment from the 2025 Settlement. Supervisor Yerke abstained the rest, four in all voted “aye”. Motion carried. 2025 INCIDENT TYPE SUMMARY REPORT There were no questions. DISCUSSION OPTIONS WITH KETTLE MORAINE FIRE DEPARTMENT The Town Board instructed the fire chief to let Kettle Moraine Fire Department know that if they want to discuss service options, they should submit a request for proposal so things are more clear what kind of services they are looking at.
