Employee Handbook Review and Revision: a. Sick Leave Benefit upon Retirement (Discussion & Action) • Current Policy says: Unused sick leave will not be paid to employees while they are employed or upon termination of employment except upon retirement. To qualify for a sick leave payout upon retiring the employee must retire to the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). • Motion to add qualifiers: Upon retirement, the sick leave payout will be made as part of final payroll payment to the retiree, calculated based on the employee’s base pay rate at the time of retirement. 9. The next meeting of Operations Committee will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Lakeview Community Library at 3:30 pm 10. The next meeting of the Finance Committee will be TBD. 11.
