HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE HUMAN SERVICES BOARD MEETING MINUTES REGULAR MEETING JUNE 2, 2026 1. Call to Order A regular meeting of the Health & Human Services Committee and Human Services Board was held in room A- 200 at the Administration Center. Present Supervisor Patrick Foy, Supervisor Jennifer Mackinnon, Supervisor Bruce Paape, Supervisor Melissa Custer, Supervisor Monis Khan, Board Member Chuck Sigurdson, Board Member Steven Kulick Absent None Excused Board Member Kristen Berns Staff present: County Administrator Dzwinel, Public Health Director Buechler, Human Services Director Falkner, Lasata Senior Living Campus Administrator Smith, County Clerk Kretlow and Deputy County Clerk Reedy. Others present: Dan Benson - Ozaukee Press 2. Proper Notice Chairperson Foy called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM. The clerk noticed the meeting as required. 3. Staff and Committee Introductions Committee members and staff introduced themselves and gave a brief overview of their duties and backgrounds. 4. Public Comments, Correspondence, Communications There were none. 5. Lasata Senior Living Campus a. Action Item 1. Approve Change Order - Lasata Crossings Kitchen Remodeling Dining Room Floor Replacement b. Discussion Items 1. Lasata CBRF Project Update Update on the progress of the construction of CBRF. c. Management/Financial/Informational Reports Update on financials, census, and staffing. It was also noted that Lasata currently holds a 5-star rating. 8. Veterans Service Office a. Management/Financial/Informational Reports There were no questions. 9. Public Health a. Action Items 1. Increase of Revenue Budget Amendment 2026 WI DNR Beach Monitoring Grant Ms. Buechler explained the purpose of the Wisconsin Beach Monitoring Program and the reasons it was established. This budget amendment will move forward to the Finance Committee for further action. Passed 2. Budget Amendment - Use of Opiate Funds for the Purchase of a Harm Reduction Vending Machine 3. Management/Financial/Informational Reports Ms. Buechler provided an update on the financials along with a brief overview of how the financial reports are prepared and used. 10. Next Meeting Date Set Meeting Day & Time Tuesday, July 7, 2026 - 8:00 AM The Health & Human Services Committee/Human Services Board meeting will remain on the first Tuesday of the month at 8:00 AM. 11.
