COUNTY BOARD OF CANVASSERS SPRING ELECTION APRIL 7, 2026 The Ozaukee County Board of Canvass reconvened on Monday, May 4 , 2026 in Room 118 of the Administration Center pursuant to the Wisconsin Election Commission Order, Part Two, dated April 30, 2026 pertaining to the April 7, 2026 Spring Election. Meeting called to order at 10:20 am. Present: County Clerk Kretlow, Republican Party Representative Carol Boettcher , Democratic Party Representative Nick Korger, and Chief Deputy County Clerk Henning County Clerk Kretlow reviewed the Wisconsin Election Commission’s Order Pursuant to Wis. Stat. 5.06(6), Part Two, which directs the Ozaukee County Board of Canvassers (CBOC) to send back the results (5 rejected absentee ballots) to the City of Mequon Municipal Board of Canvass (MBOC) for adjustments in accordance with the instructions given in Part One. The MBOC is ordered to reconvene no later than Wednesday, May 6, 2026 to review the five (5) certificate envelopes as described in Part One and to submit updated canvass statements to the CBOC, along with minutes from its reconvened meeting, no later than 24 hours after the adjournment of its meeting. Motion made by Ms. Boettcher , seconded by Mr. Korger to return the election results to the City of Mequon Municipal Board of Canvass for corrections consistent with the order in Part One of the Order. Motion carried. The MBOC is scheduled for to meet Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm. The Ozaukee County Board of Canvassers will reconvene on Thursday, May 7 at 3:00 pm.
