Oscar Grady Library Board Meeting Minutes August 5, 2026 Members Present: Joe Caban, Hannah Hand, Jon Koepke, Emily Laws, Matthew Poytinger, Laura Soldner, Marcella Wilde Guests Present: Dawn Wagner, Village Administrator; Andy Hebein, Village President Absent: Brandon Donen, Michael McMahon 1) Call to Order President J. Caban called the meeting of the Oscar Grady Library Board to order at 5:30PM. 2) Statement of Public Notice The Statement of Public Notice was posted according to Wisconsin state statutes. 3) Citizen Comments None. 4) Closed Session A motion was made, seconded, and passed for the Board to convene into closed session. Pursuant to section 19.85(1)(c), the Board will consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction to exercise responsibility. Specifically, the Board will consider and discuss the hiring of a new Library Director. 5) Open Session A motion was made, seconded, and passed to reconvene into open session. A motion was made, seconded, and passed to select Julie Gallo as the Interim Library Director of the Oscar Grady Library starting Friday, August 28 upon the former Director’s departure and until a new director is hired. A motion was made, seconded, and passed to approve a Library Hiring Committee consisting of the Village Administrator, Village President, Library Board President, Library Board Vice-President or their designees, and members of staff as determined by the Library Board President. A motion was made, seconded, and passed to approve the Library Director Position Posting as presented with amendments. 6) Adjournment A motion was made, seconded, and passed to adjourn the meeting at 6:09PM.
