***VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES*** April 21, 2026 SAUKVILLE MUNICIPAL CENTER and VIA ZOOM 639 E. GREEN BAY AVE., SAUKVILLE, WI 53080 Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice. Members: Andy Hebein -present, Jim Nowlen -present, Bill Rudolph-present, Pamela Duckart-present, Jesse Duckart-present, Wendy Smith-present, and Brandon Donen-via zoom. Others Present: Dawn Wagner, Julie Friede, Jessica Donohue, Chief Rob Meyer, Pat Kosmosky, Robert Ranthum, Matthew Karpinski, Jason Laabs, Deana Laabs, and Preston Smith. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CEREMONIAL OATH OF OFFICE – VILLAGE TRUSTEE Friede administered Oath of Office to Village Trustees. (Donen not in attendance) TRUSTEE APPOINTMENTS P. Duckart/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Trustee appointments as presented. Motion Carried. COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS Smith/Nowlen made a motion to approve the Committee appointments as presented. Motion Carried. CITIZEN COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS None. APPROVE MINUTES OF APRIL 8, 2026 MEETING. Smith/Nowlen made a motion to approve minutes of April 8, 2026. Motion Carried. COMMUNICATIONS REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT Hebein stated Service Award recognizing employees who have maintained 5-year milestones would be presented at the end of the Meeting. REPORT FROM THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR Red Stone Kitchen Ribbon Cutting at 470 E Green Bay Ave. on April 22, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Ansay Development - Paape Family Farms Groundbreaking for the Single-Family Homes on Thursday April 23, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Saukville Elementary School Ground Breaking at 309 Orchard Ln. on May 15, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. Mid-Moraine Dinner Meeting will be hosted by the Village of Saukville on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the American Legion Hall. Please respond to Clerk Friede if you plan to attend. The May Finance Committee and Village Board Meeting will be held on May 5 and May 26, 2026. ORDINANCES – RESOLUTIONS – PETITIONS None. Next Meeting is Scheduled for June 9, 2026 Mid-Moraine Municipal Association Rudolph reported on the meeting of April 8, 2026. Mid-Moraine Dinner Meeting will be hosted by the Village of Saukville on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the American Legion Hall, two members from the Wisconsin League of Municipalities will be the guest speakers. OPERATOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVALS None. Years of Service Award Presentation Hebein stated the Years of Service Awards are to recognize employees who have maintained 5 -year milestones with the Village of Saukville. Chief Meyer presented the Police Department Award to: Robert Ramthun – 25 years of Service Matthew Karpinski presented the Fire Department Award to: Jason Laabs – 25 years of Service Hebein thanked Ramthun and Laabs for their commitment, dedication and outstanding service to the Village.
