Administrative Committee Minutes Monday, January 12, 2026 Meeting was called to order at 4:02 pm by Chair Thummel All members present A quorum was present Motion to approve the agenda was made by Lloyd and seconded by Leah Motion was made to approve the minutes Nov 3 and special Admin meeting of Dec 2 by Joy and seconded by Leah No new Communications No comments or suggestions from citizens present Code Enforcement report: The court issued a 30 day extension to the Gasser property. Allison will try to prove that she is living in a trailer along Hwy 50 and update the committee. Town Strategic Plan: no update ATV/ Golf cart registration: Leah spoke with Police Chief Adams and it was communicated that there is no way for the PD to track local registration. It was recommended that we don’t charge the fee. ST rental ordinance tabled until further info from legal Mass resident communication- the committee discussed whether there was a method to communicate with the community in an urgent situation. Possibly a text alert, etc. Charge fee to issue a refund for over paid property taxes: While Darlene a valid point about the town absorbing costs such as postage, time spent and checks written, there wasn’t enough support to charge a fee for over payment at this time. New renter for billboard: The Village is not interested in renewing the lease on the billboard on Hwy 50 for $1000/ year. FOP may have an interest New Short-term rental: Anil Singhal 3799 South Shore Motion to approve by Darlene seconded by Lloyd Short-term rental renewal: Angel Carbajal 2690 Theater Rd Motion to approve by Darlene seconded by Lloyd Town application for Facility Permit as first step in possible liquor license to FOP: Bill will contact Ashley at DOR to inquire how to properly fill out the application Bills to approve were passed around and signed No comments from citizens present The date of our next meeting is Monday, February 2, 2026 at 4:00 or possible postponement Motion to adjourn by Lloyd seconded by Leah at 4:55pm L.
