Juneau Fire Department 128 E. Cross St Juneau, WI 53039 July 15, 2026 Chief Eddie Weiss called the monthly Juneau Fire Dept meeting to order and roll call was taken. Dan Jahnke made a motion to approve the agenda, with Joe Ludke seconding it, motion carried. Brian Smedema made a motion to accept the previous meeting minutes, with Dan Jahnke seconding it, motion carried. There was a motion made by Dan Jahnke to accept the treasurer's report, with Steve Graff seconding it, motion carried. Public Comment: Gary Peck: Overview on SPS330, legal for firefighters, Fire Dept, Fire Ground. Every training documented, pass minutes along to members. Communications: EMS Members EOC 7pm table talk. Wisconsin Emergency management ICS 300. Calumet County PIO officer class Oct 22nd 7-8 hrs. Dodge County Humane Society fundraiser 9-2 bring an apparatus and a few members. July 25th Juneau Fest would like to display Aerial with flag and splash board with tender. Training: EV look around, coach bus, and school bus Fund Raising: update on Trap Shoot 9/12/2026 Fund Purchase: Nothing to Report Fire Prevention: Nothing to report Preplan & Inspection: Inspections are being made Membership: none Maintenance: pump valve on 2383 leaks, 2384 needs new DNR stickers. Review Passed calls: We went over the previous month's calls. RRS: nothing to report. 150 Committee: Nothing to report Personnel: nothing to report Old Business: nothing to report Lexipol / Fire Rescue One: Independent study program, remember to do them. ESO: Truck checks and SCBA checks need to be done. New Business: ICS 800 everyone needs to complete, it is online. Personnel records are updated. Dodge County Fair 2026: Bands need help with load in and load out each day. Tractor and truck pulls, Demo at 3pm. 9/11 update 411 marchers needed. Corrugated Signs to be placed on E Cross st.
