Juneau Fire Department 128 E. Cross St Juneau, WI 53039 June 17, 2026 Chief Eddie Weiss called the executive meeting to order and roll call was taken. A motion was made by Jessy Schuster to approve the agenda, second by Erin Schuster. Assistant Chief Dan Zank made a motion to accept the previous meeting minutes, second by Erin Schuster, motion carried. Public Comment: none Communications: June 19th Car seat checks at Public Safety Building. July 7th Lights and sirens in Watertown. July 17th touch a truck at the city park from 13:00-15:00 at the City Park. July 19th Burnett Water barrel and car show. Saturday July 25th is Juneau Fest at Oak St. Sog Rewrite & Review: nothing to report Old Business: Nothing to Report Preplan: nothing to report Personnel: Deb is on Military leave Fund Raising: nothing to report Fund Purchase: Nothing to report New Business: Internship: figuring out how to pay for it, and talk with the counsel, and Dodgeland. Cost is $1,600 a year. Parents pay up front and possible work it off and be a member of Juneau Fire Dept for 2 years. Need to create a new Application for becoming a member of the Juneau Fire Dept. Individual requirements found some, Chief is working on updating those people files. 2027 budget: gloves, Helmets. SCBA fit test results were given. ESO: Fire Rescue One: Independent study, working on getting 2 trainings done every month, between in person and one online. Once course is complete it will be credited to your personnel file. Have to get all independent study done by 12/31. Training: Airport/Foam.
