Juneau Fire Department 128 E. Cross St Juneau, WI 53039 June 17, 2026 Chief Eddie Weiss called the monthly Juneau Fire Dept meeting to order and roll call was taken. Brian Smedema made a motion to approve the agenda, with Jessy Schuster seconding it, motion carried. Jessy Schuster made a motion to accept the previous meeting minutes, with Steve Graff seconding it, motion carried. There was a motion made by Dan Jahnke to accept the treasurer's report, with Steve Graff seconding it, motion carried. Public Comment: None Communications: June 17 from 12:30 - 2:00 car seat inspection at the public safety building. July 7th touch a truck at the city park from 1-3. July 7th Lights and Sirens in Watertown, Leave at 5:15. July 19th Burnett fundraiser, car show and water barrel. Dodgeland Summer School Egg Drop. Training: Matt Bartle coming July 6th Foam operations and Airport July 9th. Fund Raising: 9/11 parade on 9/11/2026 Trap Shoot 9/12/2026 Fund Purchase: Nothing to Report Fire Prevention: Nothing to report Preplan & Inspection: New inspections start in July. Membership: we need more members. Deb is on military leave. Maintenance: Tank fill fixed. Bad switch on 2371. Short lengths of Ldh made, just need to test them. Ladder is pinned back in rescue mode. Need to set it per situation. Review Passed calls: We went over the previous month's calls. RRS: nothing to report. 150 Committee: New patch idea, challenge coin, Personnel: Jay completed Firefighter 2, ICS 300, nims 200 nims 800. Cierra completed ICS 300. Nick completed nims 200, and nims 800 Old Business: nothing to report Lexipol / Fire Rescue One: Independent study program, remember to do them. ESO: Truck checks and scba checks need to be done. Rotating schedule for trucks. New Business: Health and safety committee will meet in July after monthly meeting. 9/11 no update, due to not being on agenda. Food Trucks at Pig July 21, and 22. ICS 800 everyone needs to complete it. Fit test listed off members that dont have it completed IAR: PLEASE USE IT !!!! New Cad do not share the info listed on it.
