Finance Members: Bob Chapman, Mike Cypert and Troy Justmann
Others Invited: Meagan Buchda and Mayor Jane Fude
Also Present: Dave Beal
1. The Mee�ng was called to order at 6:30 pm and roll call was taken.
2. T. Justmann / M. Cypert mo�oned to approve the agenda. Mo�on carried.
3. T. Justmann / M. Cypert mo�oned to approve the April 7, 2026, minutes. Mo�on carried.
4. Public Comment: None.
5. Review, Discuss, and Possibly Approve Fire Department Billing Service clarifica�on for all
Residents of the Fire District and Non-Residents.
Police Chief Beal clarified that using Fire Department billing service would include all
residents of the Fire District and Non-Residents. The Fire Department has not charged
for responding to automobile accidents in the past and wants to recover the costs
associated with accidents. These charges would apply to all accidents.
M. Cypert / T. Justmann mo�oned to approve using PA Fire Recovery Service for the Fire
Department. Forward to Council.
Mo�on Carried 3-0.
6. Review, Discuss and Possibly Approve the City of Juneau’s support of a long-term,
sustainable funding solu�on to the state’s Transporta�on Aid.
Mayor J. Fude discussed the importance of the city to approve a suppor�ng resolu�on
for the need of transporta�on aid that urges the Governor of Wisconsin and the State
Legislature to enact a comprehensive, sustainable transporta�on funding solu�on.
T. Justmann / B. Chapman mo�oned to approve suppor�ng resolu�on. Forward to
Council. Mo�on carried 3-0.
7. Review, Discuss and Possibly Approve monthly Finance Mee�ng start �me.
M. Cypert mo�oned to change the monthly mee�ng start �me to 6pm. The mo�on
failed due to a lack of a second. T. Justmann / B. Chapman mo�oned to change the
monthly mee�ng start �me to 5pm. Mo�on Carried 2-1.
8. Future Agenda Items: None.
9. Set Date and Time for Next Mee�ng: Finance – July 7, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
10. T. Justmann / B. Chapman mo�oned to Adjourn Mee�ng at 6:59 pm.
