Meeting Minutes

Minutes from the Town of Hamilton Board Meeting 5.12.26 Chairman Kevin Hoyer called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM. and asked everyone in attendance to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call was taken Chairman Kevin Hoyer, Supervisor Chase Aleckson, Supervisor Mark Dummer and Clerk/ Treasurer Katie Reding were all present. Minutes were read from the April 21st Board meeting. Dummer made a motion to amend the minutes to state Aleckson made the second motion following the first Motion Dummer made regarding the CD’s. Aleckson made a motion to approve the amended minutes. Dummer made the second. Motion passed. Agenda was read. Dummer made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Aleckson made the second. Motion passed. No Public Comment was made Chairman Remarks Recycle Center Updates were given. Hoyer submitted the application for LSIP for Two culverts both are located on M. Knudson Road. Salt/Sand shed should be completed within 10 days. Nate Anderegg from MGV came in front of the board requesting approval for a large assembly permit for the June 13th Rock concert. Aleckson made a motion to approve the large assembly permit. Dummer made a second motion. Motion carried. Jon Labus came in front of the board requesting approval for a CSM for 7-820-0 and 7-834-1. Dummer made a motion to approve the CSM for parcels 7-820-0 and 7-834-1. Aleckson made the second. Motion Carried. Jack Zabrowski from MMRPC presented the Town of Hamilton - Hazards, Risks, Vulnerability Assessment, and Mitigation Projects . Dummer made a motion to open up discussion regarding the Fire Truck Purchase. Aleckson made the second motion. Motion passed. Greg Hutson and David Tauscher were present from the West Salem Fire District looking for approval on a new Fire Pumper purchase. Dummer made a motion to approve the purchase; the Town of Hamilton responsibility would be $279.419.14. Aleckson made the second motion. Motion passes. Road Maintenance Bids were presented to the Board. No action was taken. Road Report and Zoning Hoyer approved the Road crew to rent a skid steer from Ace Hardware in Sparta for a week. New Tires were put on the Ford Tractor. Recycle Center This project is about complete Pay Request for the second phase of the construction was requested. Dummer made a motion to approve the #2 payment of $202, 364.67. Aleckson made the second motion. Motion carried. Checks written and monthly financial reports were handed out. Aleckson made the motion to approve the financial reports. Dummer made the second. Motion carried. Aleckson made a motion to pay the bills. Dummer made the second. Motion carried.
