Meeting Minutes

Minutes for the April 15, 2025 Chairman Kevin Hoyer called the meeting to order at 7:41pm. Oaths for the new board members took place with Kevin Hoyer coming in as Chairman, Chase Aleckson Supervisor 1 and Mark Dummer Supervisor 2. Katie Reding read the minutes from the March board meeting. Chase Aleckson motioned to approve as presented. Mark Dummer made the second. Motion carried. Kevin Hoyer read the agenda. Mark Dummer motioned to approve and Chase Aleckson made the second. Motion carried. No Public Comment was made Nate Anderegg from Maple Grove Venues, LLC is requesting a large assembly permit and is looking for the Town’s approval to move forward with that with LaCrosse County. The concert will take place for just one day on June 14th starting at 4pm. Mark Dummer motioned to approve this and allow Katie Reding to send the LaCrosse Co. Sheriff's Department a letter with this approval. Chase Aleckson made the second. Motion carried. Katie Reding is preparing to send out alcohol license renewals to Top Dog Retreat LLC, Uncle Chucks Snacks and Beverages, LaCrosse County Ag Society, MGV, LLC and Jolivettes Family. Mark Dummer motioned to have the renewal application sent out. Chase Aleckson made the second. Motion carried. Town Hall rental and Usage The board is looking at contracts to allow use and the Town Hall. Chase Aleckson motioned to table this until getting more information. Mark Dummer made the second. Motion carried. Open Book is set for May 6th for over the phone with Aaron from Associated Appraisals and Board of Review June 3rd from 5pm-7pm. Picnic License request for Saturday, May 10th at the LaCrosse Co. Ag society building for Kate Nuttleman and Aaron Berg. The application was reviewed and payment was made. Chase Aleckson motioned to approve the picnic license. Mark Dummer made the second. Motion carried. Road Report and Zoning. Kevin Hoyer talked about the Road tour that took place in March. The road supervisor Neil Hendrickson talked about the trees and brush they have been working on removing. Patching the roads needs be done and will be working on that when the local plant is open for materials. Weight limits were removed on Monday. The need of a new Lawn mower for the ditches was also discussed. No Zoning to report. Equipment changes Chase Aleckson made a motion to explore as a board to liquid the 4th plow truck. Mark Dummer made the second. Motion carried. Other items that were discussed is the need of a new mower . Recycling center Kevin Hoyer discussed that the grant application was submitted and are waiting to hear back on that. Kevin Hoyer gave information regarding the different options with the new Recycle Center and possible Curbside pick up options. Katie Reding handed out the Financial Report, Checks written and bank balances. Mark Dummer motioned to make a motion to accept the financial report and Chase Aleckson made the second motion. Motion carried. Mark Dummer made the motion to pay the monthly bills and Chase Aleckson made the second motion carried. May agenda items were discussed and plan to put on Hall Rentals the next meeting. Chase Aleckson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:03pm and Mark Dummer made the second. Motion carried.
