Meeting Minutes

Minutes for the August 15, 2024 Board Meeting. Chairman Blaine Lee called the August 15, 2024 meeting to order at 7:30 PM. Everyone was asked to stand for the pledge of allegiance. Roll call was taken. Chairman Blaine Lee, Supervisor Paul Degenhardt, Supervisor Kevin Hoyer and Clerk/ Treasurer Katie Reding Clerk/Treasurer were all present. Chairman Blaine Lee read the agenda. Paul Degenhardt motioned to remove Kevin Torgerson from the agenda until further notice and accept the agenda. Kevin Hoyer made the second. Motion carried. Katie Reding read the minutes from the July 2024 board meeting. Kevin Hoyer made the motion to accept as read. Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried. Marc and Sue Anderson W3191 Hwy 16 West Salem parcel # 7-940-6 came in front of the board requesting a variance for a 12’ wide by 27” long by 7’6’ high garage. After, reviewing the property the Town board has no issues with this request. Kevin Hoyer made a motion to approve the variance. Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried. A letter was sent to LaCrosse County Zoning Dean Olson came in front of the board requesting a variance on his parcel 7-992-2 at N5604 Jordson Coulee Rd West Salem for a new garage/ shed 20’ by 24’. Blaine Lee motioned to approve his request and Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried. A letter was sent to LaCrosse County Zoning. Kevin Hoyer made a motion to approve SEH engineering to start the architect process of phase 2. Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried. Mississippi Mayhem requested a picnic license for their event September 6th and 7th ., 2024 at N4985 County Rd M West Salem Paul Degenhardt made a motion to approve this request, and Kevin Hoyer made the second motion. Motion carried. Road Report and Zoning Scott Construction is finiishing up with their contracted road project. Recycle Center No Complaints FInancial Report Kevin Hoyer made a motion to approve the financial report. Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried. Kevin Hoyer motioned to pay the bills. Blaine Lee made the second motion. Motion carried. Kevin Hoyer motioned to adjourn the meeting at 9:42 P .M. Paul Degenhardt made the second motion. Motion carried.
