Meeting Minutes

Minutes for the April 17th, 2024 annual meeting Chairman Blaine Lee called the 2024 annual meeting to order at 7pm. The annual meeting was posted and the pledge of allegiance was recited. The Agenda was read. Kevin Hoyer made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Paul Degenhardt made the second. Motion carried Katie Reding read the minutes from the April 18, 2023 annual meeting. Paul Degenhardt motioned to approve as read. Kevin Hoyer made the second. Motion carried. The next Town Annual Meeting is set for Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 The Financial Report was presented. Old Business Contracts are Associated Appraisal Consultants Town Building Inspector is Bud Raymer Hilltopper Refuse and Recycling Rural Mutual Insurance Quarry Lease for SRice Properties,LLC Hamilton Town Levy was 767,707 New Ordinance in 2024 Ordinance #2012-2 Outdoor Burning, No burning in any subdivisions. Ordinance 10-22 ATV/UTV uses in the Town of Hamilton Ordinance #1-2024 Establishing split shifts for election workers. General Transportation Aid $132,380.28 New Purchases 2023 end loader from Titan Machinery Planning to be moved to the new Town Hall by the end of May. The second phase will include the recycle center and Salt/Sand Building. Environmental Study is done and was good and ready to put The old Town Hall building at N5105 Leonard St up for sale. New Business Things that are being looked into is a levy increase, increase wages for the board and increase our maintenance fund, looking for new Plow Truck and finish with Phase 2.
