BOARD OF REVIEW * THURSDAY, MAY 13, 2026 * 5:00 O’CLOCK P.M.
The Board of Review for the City of Augusta, Augusta, WI was called to order by City Clerk
Cynthia Anderegg at 5:07 pm. Present were Board members Jason TePaske, Lisa Fugett,
Dawn Harper, Sue Troxel, Brian Abley, Brian Leslin, and Cynthia Anderegg. Also present
was Assessor Jason Winters, Bowmar Appraisals.
Notices of this meeting were posted at 3 places and the door of City Hall on April 16, 2026.
The Augusta Post Office, Lance’s Fresh Market, and the Augusta Memorial Public Library.
A notice was published in Tri-County Area Times in the April 16, 2026 issue.
Motion by TePaske seconded Leslin to appoint Cynthia Anderegg as Clerk for the Board of
Review. Motion carried.
Motion by TePaske seconded by Troxel to appoint Lisa Fugett as Chairperson of the Board of
Review. Motion carried.
Motion by TePaske seconded by Harper to appoint Sue Troxel as Vice-Chairperson of the
Board of Review. Motion carried.
Clerk Anderegg certified that all training requirements were fulfilled for certification. The
following have completed Board of Review training in 2026 prior to the BOR’s first meeting:
Sue Troxel, Lisa Fugett, Dawn Harper, and Cynthia Anderegg.
Chairperson Fugett verified that City ordinance 14.06 provides for confidentiality of
information about income and expenses that is provided to the assessor.
Motion by Leslin seconded by Troxel to adopt policy on Procedure for Sworn Telephone or
Sworn Written Testimony Requests. Motion carried.
Motion by Anderegg seconded by Leslin to adopt policy on Procedure for Waiver of Board of
Review Hearing Requests. Motion carried.
Assessor Jason Winters read in to record the Assessor’s Affidavit. Clerk Anderegg verified
that the Assessor’s Affidavit was signed and attached to the 2026 Assessment Roll.
Certify all corrections of error under state law: There were no corrections.
Review Notices of Intent to File Objection: There were no objections filed.
No objectors are currently present. Motion by Anderegg seconded by Troxel to call the
meeting to go into recess until an objector is present.
Chairperson Fugett called the meeting out of recess at 7:07 pm. No objections were heard.
Motion by Anderegg seconded by Troxel to adjourn Board of Review. Motion carried and
Board adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
