1. Call to Order: 10:06 a.m., Village Hall Meeting Room, 122 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Pledge to Flag 3. Roll Call: Members Present: Chairman Matt Mattoon, Wayne Steinke. Absent: Bob Jenkins. Staff Present: Public Works Director Bryan Kaatz and Deputy Clerk Joan Drehmel. Also Present: Trustee Dane Zook. 4. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: Notice of meeting and agenda was posted in three public places & newspapers were notified. 5. Adopt Agenda:  MOTION (Steinke/Mattoon) to adopt the agenda as printed. PASSED, without negative vote. 6. Discuss Development of Municipal Strategy for Managing the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), and Consider Seeking DNR Funding: Chairman Matt Mattoon referred to a recent article in the Chippewa Herald newspaper that explained the City of Chippewa Falls' plan to proactively manage the emerald ash borer. He thought the Village of Fall Creek would be wise to do the same. Committee discussed: - identifying the number and location of ash trees on public land, - determining which trees would be removed (approximately 6 trees per year), - hiring an arborist to remove the trees and stumps, - establishing a list of approved "replacement" trees, - notifying community organizations that might want to plant a tree, or fund the plan. Committee will meet again to refine the plan, and keep the Village Board updated during the process. 7. Adjourn:  MOTION (Steinke/Mattoon) @ 10:35 a.m. PASSED, without negative vote.
