1. Call to Order: 9:05 a.m., Clerk's Office, 122 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Chairperson Dane Zook, Karen Strasburg, Matt Mattoon. Staff Present: Clerk-Treasurer Renee Roemhild. 3. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: A notice of the meeting and an agenda was posted in the three public places and newspapers were notified. 4. Adopt Agenda:  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) to adopt the agenda as printed. PASSED, without negative vote. 5. Update on Real Estate Letter: Letters were mailed out to 41 local real estate firms. 6. Update on Newsletter: Newsletters were mailed out the middle of May. We have received many positive comments. Chairperson Dane Zook stated he would like to see the next newsletter sent out September 1, with a deadline for article submittal of August 10-15.  MOTION (Strasburg/Mattoon) to recommend to the Board that we continue with the newsletter. PASSED, without negative vote. 7. Discuss New Venue Items: Zook introduced the idea of building a fire pit at Keller Park with benches and teepee poles, so that Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts could hold ceremonies there.  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) to continue researching event ideas for making Keller Park a destination venue. PASSED, without negative vote. 8. Discuss Industrial Property Preparation: Zook stated he would like to have research completed as to things a community can do to prepare for and encourage industrial development.  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) to recommend to the Board that we research and prepare such list. PASSED, without negative vote. 9. Review Policy re: Cost Sharing for Real Estate Development: Under the same thoughts as above, Zook would like to find out the procedure and policies of other communities regarding residential development. He would also like the Board to discuss the possibility of changing the ordinances regarding cost sharing for new development.  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) to recommend to the Board the ideas suggested above. PASSED, without negative vote. 10. Discuss Procedure for Reviewing Committee Meeting Items: Zook called the committee's attention to an article in the recent Municipality magazine stating the value in reviewing data prior to the meeting to allow time for research and to make the meeting run quicker. 11.
