1. Call to Order: 6:30 p.m., Village Hall Meeting Room, 122 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Chairman Dane Zook, Trustee Matt Mattoon. Members Absent: Trustee Karen Strasburg. Also Present: 10 business owners. 3. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: A notice of the meeting and an agenda was posted in the three public places & newspapers were notified. 4. Adopt Agenda:  MOTION (Mattoon/Zook) to adopt the agenda as printed. PASSED, without negative vote. 5. Discuss Formation of Chamber of Commerce or Business Association in Village: Committee Chairman Dane Zook presented info on Chambers or Associations for legal and formal items, and noted a Chamber is a 501C6 for lobbying purposes. Thoughts were presented on many venues and ideas: It was questioned if the Lions Fest would be affected? Response: Can have more than one festival in the Village. How would this create growth and what are we doing to gain growth? Response: Any gain in participation seems to get people interested in the location of the Village. We are currently meeting with realtors on a variety of subjects regarding growth. Are area towns (Town of Lincoln and/or Town of Washington) growing faster? Response: There are no statistics to report but growth is coming this way from the Eau Claire area. A list of current activities was presented. Isn't that enough? Response: There is always room for more if we work together. Some activities do not get advertised to everyone. A good example of positive economic development: Imperia Foods reports that they have 100 employees per day in the Village. It was agreed that the Village could use a collective effort to help growth and we need developments for future expansion. Committee Chairman Zook will compile a list of businesses and forward to attendees. Committee will meet again Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. to make a final decision. 6.
