Village of Fall Creek Minutes of Community & Economic Development Committee September 13, 2018 1. Call to Order: 6:30 p.m., Village Hall Meeting Room, 122 E. Lincoln Ave., Fall Creek 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Chairman Dane Zook, Trustees Matt Mattoon and Karen Strasburg. Also Present: 4 business owners. 3. Certify Open Meeting Law Requirements Have Been Met: A notice of the meeting and an agenda was posted in the three public places & newspapers were notified. 4. Adopt Agenda:  MOTION (Mattoon/Strasburg) to adopt the agenda as printed. PASSED, without negative vote. 5. Finalize Plan & Structure for Formation of Chamber of Commerce or Business Association in Village: Discussed the following: o Association’s purpose: joint advertising, venture programs, and focus for the future of Fall Creek growth; o Association’s structure: leaders (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer); o Basic plans for items the group intends to address: advertising, fests, programs and venues. Business lists were distributed with plans to survey business owners and schedule meetings to determine how involved they want to be and who will lead the effort. 6.
