2026 Annual Meeting — Minutes

TOWN OF PLEASANT VALLEY TOWN ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES UN-APPROVED 2026 APRIL 21, 2026 The 2026 Town of Pleasant Valley Annual Meeting was called to order by Doug Nelson on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall located in Cleghorn. Doug Nelson called to honor the flag with the Pledge of Allegiance. Attendance of Town officials included: Chairman Doug Nelson & Supervisor Megan Bechel. Staff in attendance: appointed Clerk/Treasurer Jennifer Meyer, Highway Foreman Wyatt Whathke, and Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Kelsey Ebert. Other residents in attendance: 4 residents on the sign-in sheet. GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS: Doug Nelson Doug introduced the board & staff. He welcomed the residents in attendance. PROCEDURES The clerk disbursed the 2025 Town Annual Meeting minutes for all to read. Motion by Megan Bechel, seconded by Heather Vaughn, to approve the minutes as printed. The chair called for a voice vote and announced that the motion carried. Ayes 7 Nays 0 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT The clerk distributed and reviewed the 2025 Annual Financial Report for the period of January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025. Motion by Heather Vaughn, seconded by Larry Becker, to approve the report as presented. The chair called for a voice vote and announced that the motion was carried. Ayes 7 Nays 0 OTHER REPORTS / Chairman Doug Nelson Doug shared the 2025 road project of Balsam Road. The 2026 S Lowes Creek Road project. The 2025 Township Fire report. The Town’s new truck arriving at the end of 2026. A generator update and funds raised to date. OLD BUSINESS - None NEW BUSINESS – None ANNOUNCEMENTS The Board of Review for 2026 date is TBD for the fall, after the Town’s revaluation is completed. 2027 ANNUAL MEETING DATE Motion by Megan Bechel, seconded by Barry Vaughn, to set the date for the 2027 Annual Meeting per Wis. Statute 60.11 (2) for Tuesday, April 20, 2027, being the third Tuesday of April, at the Town Hall in Cleghorn at 7:00 p.m. The chair called for a voice vote and announced that the motion carried. Ayes 7 Nays 0 ADJOURNMENT Motion by Megan Bechel, seconded by Janet Lesniewski, to adjourn the meeting at 8:06 pm. The chair called for a voice vote and announced that the motion carried.
