TOWN OF PLEASANT VALLEY TOWN ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES UN-APPROVED 2024 APRIL 16, 2024 The 2024 Town of Pleasant Valley Annual Meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Hanson on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall located in Cleghorn. Chairman Hanson called for the honoring of the flag with the Pledge of Allegiance Attendance of Town officials included: Chairman Dan Hanson, Supervisor Dan Green and Supervisor Doug Nelson. Staff in attendance: appointed Clerk/Treasurer Jennifer Meyer. Other residents in attendance: Gayla Hanson. Non-resident: Kelsey Ebert. 6 total attendees GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENTS: Chairman Hanson -Chairman Hanson shared with the group information on comprehensive planning, zoning and certified survey maps. The Town has very active community members of which all groups work well together. The Town is working on raising funds for a generator. PROCEDURES The clerk disbursed the minutes of the April 18, 2023, Town Annual Meeting for all to read. Motion by Gayla Hanson, second by Doug Nelson to approve the minutes as printed. The chair called for a voice vote and announced said motion carried. Ayes 6 Nays 0 ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT The clerk distributed and read the 2023 Annual Financial report for the period of Jan 1, 2023 thru Dec. 31, 2023. Motion by Gayla Hanson, second by Dan Green to approve the report as presented. The chair called for a voice vote and announced said motion carried. Ayes 6 Nays 0 OTHER REPORTS / Chairman Dan Hanson - Dan shared the road projects upcoming in 2024. OLD BUSINESS - None NEW BUSINESS – None ANNOUNCEMENTS The Board of Review for 2024 will be on May 7, 2024, from 9am – 11am. 2025 ANNUAL MEETING DATE Motion by Gayla Hanson, second by Doug Nelson to set the date for the 2025 Annual Meeting per Wis. Statute 60.11 (2) for Tuesday April 15, 2025, being the third Tuesday of April, at the Town Hall/Fire Station at Cleghorn at 7:00 p.m. The chair called for a voice vote and announced the said motion carried. Ayes 6 Nays 0 ADJOURNMENT Motion by Gayla Hanson, second by Dan Green, to move the meeting be adjourned at 7:40pm. The chair called for a voice vote and announced the said motion carried.
