Budget Public Hearing and Special Electors Meeting — Minutes

NOVEMBER 14, 2023 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING MINUTES A special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Pleasant Valley called pursuant to Section 60.12 (1) (c) of Wisconsin Statutes by the town board of the Town of Pleasant Valley was held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the Town Hall in Cleghorn. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Dan Hanson immediately following the public budget-hearing meeting which adjourned at 7:15 p.m. The chairman presented the agenda of the meeting as follows and with no objections began with item 1: 1) Approve Resolution 23-16-20 for Electors to Adopt the 2023 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2024 pursuant to Section 60.10 (1) (a) of Wis. Statutes. On a motion by Dan Green, second by Doug Nelson, to adopt Resolution 23-16-20 RESOLUTION for ELECTORS to ADOPT the TOWN TAX LEVY for 2023 collected in 2024 in the maximum amount of $1,035,897. The chairman announced the ayes carry 5-0 and the motion is adopted.
