APPROVED MINUTES TOWN OF SEYMOUR BOARD MEETING Vol. 38 Page 11 A SPECIAL meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. for purpose of awarding Road Bids for 2025. Notice was published in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram and posted at the Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- and at www.townofseymour.org under “Agendas”. Board members present were Chair Jessica Janssen, Supervisor Kerry Parker, and Supervisor Ken Schick. Also present were Clerk/Treasurer Jean Eisold, Deputy Clerk Sarah Smith, Roads/Building Supervisor John Oxley, and 5 contractor representatives. Base Course: Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Base Course to Stelter Inc. (In amount of $54,012.50) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley, Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. Asphalt Pulverizing: Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Asphalt Pulverizing to A-1 Excavating LLC. (In amount of $7,600.00) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley, Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. Crack Sealing: Motion made by Chair Janssen to award Crack Sealing to Thunder Road. (In amount of $14,712.00 as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley, Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. Sealcoating: Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Sealcoating to Fahrner Asphalt Sealers LLC (In amount of $15,158.00) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley, Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. Micro Surfacing: No award was given. Pavement Marking: Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Pavement Marking to Fahrner Asphalt Sealers LLC (in amount of $8,940.00) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley, Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. Paving: • Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Paving projects 25-1 and 25-3 to Monarch Paving Company (25-1 in amount of $62,067.34 and 25-3 in amount of $86,583.83) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley. Motion seconded by Supervisor Schick. Motion carried. • Motion made by Supervisor Parker to award Paving project 25-2 to Senn Blacktop Inc (in amount of $66,286.81) as recommended by Road Supervisor John Oxley.
