Multiple residents and non-residents shared their views on the potential bike path, with opinions addressing safety, health, and economic benefits. The Board’s concerned whether the project is in the best interest of the town, the lack of finalized design plans and the need to agree to an intergovernmental agreement without a confirmed path location, whether residents of Mckinley Road have been informed about the potential bike path being located in the front of their properties. The board decided to schedule a special meeting and hearing specifically for McKinley Road residents to gather feedback and address concerns. The meeting is set for January 28, 2025.
