APPROVED MINUTES TOWN OF SEYMOUR BOARD MEETING Vol. 37 Page 06C A SPECIAL meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held Monday, April 8, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. for purposes of awarding Road Bids for 2024. Notice was published in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram and posted at the Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- and at www.townofseymour.org under “Agendas”. Board members present were Chair Jessica Janssen, Supervisor Kerry Parker, and Supervisor Ken Schick. Also present were Clerk/Treasurer Jean Eisold, Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Sarah Smith, and Roads/Building Supervisor John Oxley. Motion by Supervisor Schick and seconded by Supervisor Parker to award the Road Bids as recommended by the Roads Department, with the caveat of staying within the Town Budget overall, as follows: Asphalt Paving: Total for all Hot Mix projects (#24-1 @ $84,277.52, #24-2 @ $109,812.15, #24-3 @ $19,566) as bid award to SENN BLACKTOP for a combined total of $213,655.67 Base Course material: All road project materials and for stock as bid Award to STELTER INC. $51,800 Pulverizing: Both road projects and salt shed apron—Award to HAAS INC. with two mobilizations (second mobilization charge is $500 and needed for pulverizing the salt shed apron a later date than roads). $8643.50 Crack Sealing: All projects as bid to FAHRNER— (*see notes for explanation*) $25,110.00 Sealcoating: As bid to FAHRNER $18,116.79 Pavement Marking: Painting of Tower Dr, Town Hall N parking lot, Fire Station Lot.
