TOWN OF SEYMOUR BOARD MEETING Vol. 37 Page 01 A meeting of the Seymour Town Board was held Monday, January 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Notice was posted at the Seymour Town Hall, Township Fire Dept. Station 1- and at www.townofseymour.org under “Agendas”. Board members present were Chair Jessica Janssen, Supervisor Kerry Parker, and Supervisor Ken Schick. Also present were, Road Supervisor John Oxley, Clerk/Treasurer Jean Eisold and two Town residents. Chair Janssen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. MINUTES APPROVAL: Motion from Chair Janssen to approve the 12/11/2023 meeting minutes as presented after review of spelling for two garbage haulers; and addition of meeting on 3/07/2024 at 6:30 p.m. regarding the restricted hunting area. Seconded by Supervisor Parker. Motion carried. GENERAL COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC: None FINANCIAL REPORT: None ROADS & BUILDINGS SUPERVISOR REPORT: See attached. BUILDING INSPECTOR REPORT: Absent DISCUSSION ITEMS A. NASHVILLE NORTH’S SPECIAL EVENT RENEWAL: received one complaint last year for cans in field; shows this year in June, July, August and September; application considered at this months Eau Claire County meeting; partner with area groups, three years under review, 999 permit size B. BRIDGE PROJECT ON 140TH: Hold discussion after changes made to plan with John Beckfield of CBS Squared, Inc. ACTION ITEMS A. 2023 BUDGET AMENDMENT: Met in December to approve B. DEPUTY CLERK CANDIDATES: Jess to call candidates for interviews BOARD MEMBERS COMMUNICATIONS A. The next Board Meeting will be February 12, 2024 B. Plat 8 C. 140th Bridge SIGN CHECKS AND FORMS: Chair Janssen signed A/P checks. Board approved cash disbursements and payroll for December 12, 2023, through January 8, 2024.
