The public hearing will be conducted on September 30, 2026, immediately following a brief presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Eau Claire Room on the second floor of Building D2, Banbury Place, at 800 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In accordance with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1972 (PL92-500) as well as NR 110 and NR 121 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code, the Sewer Service Area Plan anticipates the Chippewa Falls-Eau Claire urban area's future needs for wastewater treatment to help protect the urban area from adverse water quality impacts through a cost-effective and environmentally sound 20-year sewerage system growth plan. The public can access the final draft of the plan at the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (WCWRPC) website at https://www.wcwrpc.org/chippewa- eauclaire-ssa-update or at the WCWRPC’s offices located in Suite 401, 800 Wisconsin Street, Banbury Place Building D2, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The Chippewa-Eau Claire MPO will consider any written comments regarding the draft plan update following the public hearing and prior to advisory recommendation to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on the plan.
