1 Board Meeting November 11, 2025 The meeting was called to order by Chair Jennifer Meyer. Flag Salute Adopt Agenda: Supervisor Mona Mathews made a motion to adopt agenda. Supervisor Paul Travis seconded the motion. All voted yes, motion carried. Attendance: Chair Jennifer Meyer, Supervisor Megan Bischel, Supervisor Jeff Whyte, Supervisor Paul Travis and Supervisor Mona Mathews all in attendance. Approve Minutes: October 14th meeting minutes: Chair Jennifer Meyer made a motion to approve. Supervisor Paul Travis seconded the motion. All voted yes, motion carried. Visit Eau Claire: Kenzi Havlicek was in attendance. Monthly handout was handed out. Went over next Years, 2026, contract. Board approved contract, signed by Chair Jennifer Meyer and Clerk Beverly Christopherson. Supervisor Mona Mathews made a motion to approve 2026 – 2030 Contract. Supervisor Megan Bischel seconded the motion. All voted yes, motion carried. Comp Plan: No land use applications and Comp Plan did not meet. Park Commission: - Monthly meeting update: Barb Kleist was in attendance. Fall Event at The Conservancy was a big success. EMS presentation done by Station 3 at Fall Event was well received by attendees. Vault toilet is all done and open. Bridge at Sherman Creek Park is in need of replacement. Still working on memorial project. Fire Station #3: - Monthly report / Battalion Chief Eddie Yates was not in attendance. Chair Jennifer Meyer reported 8 incidents and 14 EMS calls. On November 3rd received call on burning land, this was a DNR burn. Roads: - Update on Local Road Improvement Program LRIP grant application: Chair Jennifer Meyer is working with Cedar Corp for the grant for 2 road by Menards. - Update on all Brushing: Soley Lane, Eagle Lane, West Folsom, and 33rd and 34th are all done. A resident Pompas Grass was accidentally cut and he was upset. - Any other road business: Fire Station sign is in the ditch. Keegan St. would like a sign saying “No Outlet”, will contact Eau Claire County Highway Dept. Public Comment The purpose of public comment is to provide members of the public with an opportunity to present information to the Board. It is not intended for interactive debate. There will be no response or comment from the Town of Union Board Supervisors. Wis Stat §19.84(2) Metropolitan Planning Organization: - Chair Jennifer Meyer mentioned no update and SSA meeting not scheduled. Utility Applications: - Alpine Road and County Line Road. Did receive one today for Harter’s. Review and Approve: - Monthly expenditures: Clerk Beverly Christopherson handed out the Payables report. Supervisor Mona Mathews made a motion to approve as presented to the Board, with the addition of Summit Fire in the amount of $565.30, for Fire Station #3 inspection. Chair Jennifer Meyer seconded the motion along with Summit Fire payable. All voted yes, motion carried. Treasurer’s Report: - Treasurer John McLaughlin; monthly financials report handed out. CNA Surety bond for tax collection being taken care of. Licenses: - One Driveway Permit turned in from Chris Turner for East Nova Dr. Town Properties: - Replace AED pads – ordered by Clerk Beverly Christopherson - Transfer Station: applications for new hire position - Newsletter responses Scheduled Town Meetings/Events: - Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Public Budget Hearing; 6:00pm; Union Town Hall - Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Park Commission; 9:30am; Union Town Hall - Thursday, December 4, 2025, Plan Commission; 6:30pm; Union Town Hall - Tuesday, December 9,2025; Town Board meeting, 6:30pm; Union Town Hal Adjourn This Board meeting was adjourned at 7:45 pm.
