November 6, 2024 Meeting called to order 9:40 Commission members in attendance: Jennifer Meyer, Kathy Alf, Tom Roach, Barb Kleist, Dean Kallenbach, and Tony Bischel Adopt agenda; motion made by Kathy/sec Dean and passed. Approval of October 2, 2024 minutes; motion made by Dean/ sec Tom and passed. Financial Report Total expenses paid in October $ 2,840.43 Total year to date $ 20,581.89 Town of Union Treasurer Report dated October 8, 2024 shows Visit EC Dest. & Dev balance $ 30,710.99 Nicolet non-profit checking balance $ 2,143.17 Motion to approve financial report made by Dean/ sec Tony and passed. Parks Discussion Sherman Creek Park The wordage for the sign announcing the Aylen Bain Memorial project was given the go ahead. When the sign is completed, Fred will determine the best location in the park. Conservancy The Fall Event was discussed. Old Business Tony gave an update on Rural Partners Network. The online data base is created. They plan to work on connecting outdoor assets and securing more grants. The Commission will monitor future meetings on demand. The 2024 Project Plan will be reviewed in December and January. New Business Dean gave an update on Visit Eau Claire.
