Roll Call PRESENT: Teresa Baier, Michael Becker, Michelle Leccia, Scott Needham, Anjali Patel, and Dan Schmit ABSENT: Abrianna Dolfi, Sean Kinsella, Alysja Otten, Lisa Plunkett, and Kyle Schaffer Approval of Minutes 1. Minutes of Previous Meeting - May 21, 2026 Minutes were accepted as presented. Public Comment None. Business 1. County Truancy Policy Next Steps. Whether to amend the portion in the policy to do with background. The Department to do more background portion first. More discussions regarding that workgroup (reforming) Anjali to reorganize group and what to do next with next steps. 2. Judicial Engagement Team (JET) Updates. CCIP updates (minor guardianships, family treatment courts, CHIPS conditions) ICCP Minnesota Project. Things are still in standstill as of currently. The parents in FTC will have the first chance to do the parent survey. Follow up: More information on what circumstances we should hold review hearings, more structured process. Work on something in the next meeting. Add to Agenda for next time. 3. Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and the Potential for a Local Child Advocacy Center (CAC). CAC updates. Relationship building (NorthStar advocacy center). Increase in population of patients. Rebranding the name and finding a new location to fit needs. No CAC center in this area of the state (Eau Claire has been utilized) goal is to have a CAC on this side of the state. Page 2 of 3 10 year plan 4. Family Treatment Court Updates. Five active members, 6 months into the program. FTC moved from Thursday to Wednesday. August 18th celebrating family program. No other updates. 5. Youth Justice Summit. Presentation from Sara Van Driel. Request for Future Agenda Items Review Hearing Document by JET Update on Truancy Groupwork or Date to when the next meeting will be. Proposed policy changes for FTC. Numbers for child protection, consent decrees etc (First half of the year 2026) Announcements None. Date of Next Meeting 1.
