Minutes of Previous Meeting - June 23, 2026 Minutes were accepted as presented. Public Comment No public comment. Business 1. Discussion of Unsold Tax Deeded Properties Parcel #261-1176-90-000, City of New Richmond, was discussed. A decision was made to publish a Class 1 notice for sale on an ongoing basis, with a minimum bid established at $95,000. Parcel #231-1000-60-000, City of Glenwood City, was discussed. A decision was made to publish a Class 1 notice for sale on an ongoing basis, with a minimum bid established at $8,500. Parcel #016-1085-80-001, Town of Glenwood, was discussed. A decision was made to publish a Class 1 notice for sale on an ongoing basis, with a minimum bid established at $2,000. Parcel #038-1051-60-000, Town of Star Prairie was discussed. A decision was made to publish a Class 1 notice for sale on an ongoing basis, with a minimum bid established at $15,000. 2. Discuss Various County-Owned Properties Parcels #012-2000-40-000 and Parcel #012-2001-30-001 in the Town of Erin Prairie were discussed. Denise Anderson will contact the assessor to establish the assessed value. Further steps will be discussed at the September meeting. Parcel #038-1048-90-000 in the Town of Star Prairie was discussed. Denise Anderson will contact Community Development Director, Jason Kjeseth to inquire about whether this parcel is buildable. Further steps will be discussed at the September meeting. Parcel #008-1007-95-000 in the Town of Eau Galle was discussed. Denise Anderson will contact the assessor to establish the assessed value. Further steps will be discussed at the September meeting. Discuss Criteria for Bids and Bid Consideration Discussion occurred regarding properties that do not receive bids, which are to be sold on an ongoing basis without a minimum bid, a practice followed historically. The decision was made to revise this process to establish a minimum bid for such properties. Future bids for parcels listed for sale on an ongoing basis must meet or exceed this minimum bid requirement. Request for Future Agenda Items None. Announcements None. Date of Next Meeting 1.
