TOWN OF STAR PRAIRIE PUBLIC HEARING 2026 BUDGET & SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025 – 5:00 P.M. STAR PRAIRIE TOWN HALL 2118 COOK DRIVE, SOMERSET, WISCONSIN Public Budget Hearing - 5:00 p.m. The public hearing for the 2026 Town of Star Prairie budget was called to order on Tuesday, November 4 by Tom Heintz at 5:03 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Present: Tom Heintz, Michele Hermansen, Darryl Wendt, Bob Crotty, resident Carol Mountain and Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Neumann. Absent: Supervisor Brian Duggan. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Review of the proposed 2026 Budget : Printed handouts of the proposed 2026 budget were available. Town Board reviewed the budget in detail. Adjourn Public Budget Hearing : Motion M/S by Darryl Wendt/Michele Hermansen to adjourn. Motion carried at 5:13 p.m. Special Town Meeting of the Electors (Immediately Following Adjournment of the Public Budget Hearing) The Special Meeting of the Electors was called to order on Tuesday, November 4 at 5:13 p.m. in the Star Prairie Town Hall: 2118 Cook Drive, Somerset, WI 54025. Present: Tom Heintz, Michele Hermansen, Darryl Wendt, Bob Crotty, resident Carol Mountain and Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Neumann. Absent: Supervisor Brian Duggan. Adoption of Tax Levy : Motion M/S by Carol Mountain/Darryl Wendt to adopt the 2025 Town Tax Levy in the amount of $660,624 to be paid in 2026 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(a) of Wisconsin Statutes. In a show of hands vote: 5-0. Motion carried. Adjourn Special Town Meeting of the Electors : Motion M/S by Michele Hermansen/Bob Crotty to adjourn.
