Roll Call Present: Alderpersons Tod Anderson, Marie Blaser, and Terry Nelson Also Present: Mayor William Pecha, Deputy Clerk Treasurer Chelsea Henkel, Police Chief Jess Keplinger, Fire Chief Greg Rudie, and Alderperson Nanette Mohr Approval of Minutes – May 25, 2016 and June 2, 2016 MOTION: Blaser/Anderson Motion to approve the minutes from May 25, 2016 and June 2, 2016. Voice Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED PUBLIC INPUT: None DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: 1. Operator’s License for Rick Raatz MOTION: Blaser/Anderson Motion to approve Rick Raatz’s Operators License application and to send onto council for approval. Voice Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED 2. Review new sex offender residency map MOTION: Nelson/Blaser Motion to approve the new Sexual Offender Residency Map with the changes recommended by Police Chief Jess Keplinger being the title on the map and ordinance number, to be sent to council for approval. Voice Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED 3. Sale of 2012 Ford SUV Squad MOTION: Blaser/Nelson Motion to approve put the model year 2013 Ford SUV squad for sale by sealed bids with the ability to reject or accept any or all bids for a period of three weeks to be determined by Chief of Police when it is ready to be put for sale, also to be sent to council for approval. Truancy Ordinance MOTION: Nelson/Blaser Motion to approve the Truancy Ordinance to include the corrected ordinance number by the City Attorney and to send onto council for approval. Voice Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED 5. Needs for outfitting and equipment for new squad car MOTION: Nelson/Blaser Motion to use the Police Department assisnged to Fund Balance money in the amount of $4478.00 to outfit the new squad with the proposed items, the proceeds from the sale of the old squad will go back into the same fund, sending to council for approval. Roll Call Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED MOTION: Nelson/Blaser Motion to move item #7 under item # 5. Voice Vote: All voting aye - MOTION CARRIED 6. Review department budget and submit to Finance Get budget worksheets and add new column to describe what the budgeted money will be used for. 7. Review Job Descriptions Need definitive job descriptions with specific duties for the Police chief and officers. Leave lay. 8. Set next meeting date Next meeting date will be Monday, July 25, 2016 at 6:00PM 9.
