carried.
Discussion was had on the BayLakes Regional Planning Commission worksheet. See
attached. Motion by Blaser, second by Erickson to approve the BayLakes Regional
Planning Commission worksheet as attached, motion carried.
An update was given on the property at 311 W Park St. The parking lot was ready to be
blacktopped and Anderson noticed that part of Emery Ave was going to be
blacktopped. Erickson would like to see something in writing stating that the property
owner is aware that they will be blacktopping part of the street and in the future the
City has the right to remove the blacktop.
Discussion was had on the Mobile Home Ordinance. The ordinance is not in conjunction
with the Zoning Ordinance. The Mobile Home Ordinance will remain the way it is.
Discussion was had on the Building Fee Ordinance. There will be a meeting with the
Building Inspector to redo the ordinance.
Discussion was had on the fence at Iron Horse. Attorney Schimd sent a letter to Iron
Horse giving them 30 days (until August 21, 2015) and nothing has changed. The next
step is for the City to issue citations on a per diem basis. Schmidt will work with the Police
Department to determine the ordinance number and bond schedule to use to write
the citations. Motion by Erickson, second by Blaser to authorize the Police Department
to contact the Attorney for the decision and course of action to include exact location
for enforcement under the Municipal Code on the property located at 321 W Park St,
motion carried. The next step will be an injunction with the Circuit Court. This would
happen after the October court date and would have to go to council.
Discussion was had on the building plans for St. John the Evangelist Parish addition.
Motion by Blaser, second by Erickson to approve the building plans for St. John the
Evangelist Parish contingent on receiving State approved plans and the approval of
the Utility and Public Works Committees, motion carried.
