Council may go into closed session for the purpose of deliberating on sale of city owned real estate pursuant to 19.85 (1)(e) Wis. Stats.; sale of Industrial Park lands. MOTION: Rusch / Wirtz Motion to go into closed session at 7:02 pm for the purpose of deliberating on sale of city owned real estate pursuant to 19.85 (1)(e) Wis. Stats.; sale of Industrial Park lands. Voice Vote: All present voting aye - MOTION CARRIED Those remaining in closed session: Everyone in attendance remained in closed session. B. Council will return to open session and may take action on matters discussed in closed session. MOTION: Rusch / McDermid Motion to return to open session 7:34 pm in which action may take place on matters discussed in closed session. Voice Vote: All present voting aye - MOTION CARRIED COMMON COUNCIL – April 20, 2021 – Reorganizational Meeting Page 2 ACTION TAKEN 1st Motion – MOTION: Wirtz / Holman Motion to approve for Gary Steffens to purchase the Easterly portion of lots 2 and 3 of 26 CSM 18 along Bob Hammond Street, which is approximately 9.5 acres of land in the Industrial Park, for a total price of $20,000. Roll Call Vote: Wirtz-yes, Holman-yes, Rusch-yes, Coopman-yes, McDonald-yes, McDermid-yes - MOTION CARRIED 2nd Motion – MOTION: McDermid / Rusch Motion to give Gary Steffens the option to purchase additional land adjacent to the west lot line of original 9.5 acres purchased for the purchase price of $2,100 per acre; with dimensions of approximately 80’ x 1,076’. This option will expire 2 years from today. This is an annual resolution with the designation to continue using Oconto County Times Herald as the newspaper for legally required notices. MOTION: Coopman / McDonald Motion to approve Resolution 21-003; a resolution designating Oconto County Times Herald as the newspaper to be used for legally required notices.
