Chestnut Avenue - Oconto Falls, WI 54154 WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2019 – 5:45 PM MINUTES Meeting called to order at 5:46 PM by Mayor Brad Rice Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Present: Mayor Brad Rice, Aldermen: Jeff McDonald, Kevin Rusch, Mathew McDermid, and Tim Holman Excused: Devin Wirtz and Marty Coopman Also present: Administrator Vicki Roberts, Deputy Treasurer Eve Wallace, Vaughn Spaulding, and Tim Magnin (arriving at 5:49pm) DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING A. Resolution 19-008; Resolution Authorizing the Redemption of the City’s Taxable General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2011A, Dated October 27, 2011. This resolution would allow the city to pay the final debt which is due December 2020, in December 2019. Paying it off one year ahead would save the city approximately $7,000. Even after paying fees for paperwork preparation to Quarrel’s & Brady and Ehlers, the city will still be money ahead. MOTION: Rusch / Holman Motion to approve Resolution 19-008; Resolution Authorizing the Redemption of the City’s Taxable General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2011A, Dated October 27, 2011. Roll Call Vote: Rusch-yes, Holman-yes, McDermid-yes, McDonald-yes, Wirtz-absent, Coopman-absent - MOTION CARRIED B. Adjournment. Mayor Rice asked if there was any further business before the meeting is adjourned.
