MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING ORDINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, APRIL 28, 2026, AT 1:30 PM 1. Meeting Called to Order by President Steffeck at 1:30 PM. Roll Call: Kohlwey, Kramp, Nieling, School, and Steffeck. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, and Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Pat Sleeter. 2. Agenda motion to approve agenda made by Nieling and second by Kramp. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk-Treasurer. 3. Public Input: None. 4. Discussion and possible action on Mobile Home ordinance sections 13-1-200 through 13-1-214 to add annual fee, late fees, and noncompliance section. Motion to send red line changes to attorney for approval with response from committee on attorney questions made by Kramp and second by Nieling. All Ayes. Motion carried. 5. Discussion and possible action on Residential Zoning Ordinance 13-1-22 through 13-1-23 to add minimum square footage for conventional construction. Committee reviewed attorney notes on amendment, advised Clerk to make changes and bring to Village Board meeting for approval. 6. Discussion and possible action on Short Term Rental Ordinance 13-1-74 through 13-1-75 to include deadline date for applications, license dates, late fees, and noncompliance section. Motion to send red line changes to attorney for approval made by Kramp and second by School. All Ayes. Motion carried. 7. Discussion and possible action on Title 7 Chapter 1 Licensing of Dogs and Regulation of Animals. – no action taken. Discussion was had regarding section in ordinance on chickens. 8. ADJOURNMENT – next committee meeting – TBD. Motion to adjourn made by Kramp and second by School. All ayes. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 2:22 PM.
