MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025 AT 8:00 AM 1. Meeting Called to Order by President Steffeck at 8:00 AM Roll Call: Kohlwey, Nieling, Schuettpelz, and Steffeck. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher. 2. Agenda motion to approve agenda made by Nieling and second by Schuettpelz. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk-Treasurer. 3. Discussion and possible action on 2026 Budget – Discussion was had on proposal presented and levy limit worksheet. Decision was made for clerk to contact Auditor to clarify a couple questions, and proceed with budget notice to be sent to the newspaper for public hearing on Monday, November 17th at 5:00 PM. 4. CLOSED SESSION: Motion to convene in closed session on the following matters: State Statute 19.85 - -PERSONNEL Motion to go into closed session with Village President, Committee Members, and Clerk-Treasurer made by Kohlwey and second by Schuettpelz. All ayes. Motion carried. Entered into closed session at 8:42 AM. 5. OPEN SESSION: Returned to open session at 9:02 AM; no action taken. 6.
