Finance Committee Meeting — Minutes

MINUTES VILLAGE OF SURING FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2025 AT 3:00 PM 1. Meeting Called to Order by President Steffeck at 3:00 PM Roll Call: Kohlwey, Nieling, Schuettpelz, and Steffeck. Also present: Clerk-Treasurer Kim Gruetzmacher, and Public Works Director Jeff Tienor. 2. Agenda motion to approve agenda made by Nieling and second by Schuettpelz. All ayes. Motion carried. Open Meeting Notice statement made by Clerk-Treasurer. 3. CLOSED SESSION: Motion to convene in closed session on the following matters: State Statute 19.85 - -PERSONNEL Motion to go into closed session with Village President, Committee Members, Clerk -Treasurer and Public Works Director made by Kohlwey and second by Schuettpelz. All ayes. Motion carried. Entered into closed session at 3:02 PM. 4. OPEN SESSION: Returned to open session at 3:40 PM; no action taken. 5. Discussion and possible action on 2026 Budget – Discussion was had on preparation for draft budget to included possible service truck replacement and computer upgrade. Clerk to check on estimated amount for computer upgrade. Clerk to bring details to next finance meeting. 6. ADJOURNMENT –Motion to adjourn made by Schuettpelz and second by Kohlwey. All ayes.
