2026.01.28 Town Board Workshop Meeting Proceedings

PROCEEDINGS – January 28, 2026 TOWN OF CHASE WORKSHOP SUPERVISORS MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Supervisor – Jeff Van Enkevort, Treasurer – Mae Micholichek, Deputy Treasurer – Colleen Walgurski, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, and Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau. 2. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. Motion by Kroll/Van Enkevort to approve the agenda and the sequence of agenda. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 3. Discuss Roads (No Action Taken). Board Members discussed the LRIP Program and roads that need repairing like Brown County Line Road, Holewinski, South Chase, and Wind Dancer. 4. Discuss Park (No Action Taken). Board Members discussed the potential having a Firework display at the Stone Barn for America’s 250 birthday. 5. Discuss Recycling Center (No Action Taken). Board Members discussed the main point of contact for Redemption is Ken Miller. We also discussed recycling fees and other municipal fees that other towns are charging for electronics. 6. Discuss Compost Site (No Action Taken). Board Members briefly discussed the compost site. 7. Discuss Ordinances (No Action Taken). Board Members had a special meeting the week before in regard to Ordinances with the Town’s Attorney. 8. Discuss Newsletter (No Action Taken). Nothing 9. Discuss Clerk and Deputy Clerk Report (No Action Taken). Clerk Jeromy Delebreau shared with the board the $5,295 cost saving initiatives that he performed for the town. He also highlighted updates to the recent Badger Book Upgrade he performed on January 14 th, 2026. 10. Discuss Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer Report (No Action Taken). Treasurer Mae Micholichek shared an update about taxes this year and a nonsufficient funds check. 11. Announcements and General Information. None. 12. Adjournment to Monday, February 9, 2026.
