PROCEEDINGS – Wednesday, March 3, 2025 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SPECIAL MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisors - Dennis Kroll, Jeff Van Enkevort, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, Treasurer – Mae Micolichek and Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau. 2. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll approving the agenda. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 3. Interview for Building Inspector 4. Convene to Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Statute 19.85(1)(c) - Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility - Discuss Candidates for Building Inspector with Attorney Tiffany Woelfel. Time: 6:35 pm. Roll Call into Closed Session: Dennis Kroll – Yes, Jeff Van Enkevort – Yes, Gary Van Lannen, Board Chairman – Yes. The Board invited Building Inspector - Dave Szela, Attorney Tiffany Woelfel, Deputy Clerk - Cindy Kroll and Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau and Treasurer - Mae Micolichek to attend. 5. Convene Back into Open Session. Time: 6:50 pm. Roll Call into Open Session: Dennis Kroll – Yes, Jeff Van Enkevort – Yes, Gary Van Lannen – Yes. 6. Discuss and Act on Closed Session - Hiring Building Inspector Motion by Kroll/Van Enkevort to hire David Szela as the building inspector for the Town of Chase.
