2025.02.12 Town Board Special Meeting Proceedings

PROCEEDINGS – Wednesday, February 12, 2025 TOWN OF CHASE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS SPECIAL MEETING 1. Call to Order and Roll Call Town Board Chairman, Gary Van Lannen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Chase Town Hall, located at 8481 County Road S, Pulaski WI 54162. Notices were posted in the three town display boxes, which are located at the Town Recycling Center, North Chase Citgo, and South Chase Saloon. Board Members present: Chairman - Gary Van Lannen, Supervisor - Dennis Kroll, Jeff Van Enkevort, Clerk – Jeromy Delebreau, Deputy Clerk – Cindy Kroll, Treasurer – Mae Micolichek. 2. Approve the Agenda A. Change in Sequence – None. B. Removal of Items – None. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve the agenda. The motion was called and carried 3-0. 3. Convene to Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Statue 19.85(1)(g) – Conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. – With Attorney. Roll Call into Closed Session: Dennis Kroll – Yes, Jeff Van Enkevort – Yes, Gary Van Lannen – Yes. Board Chairman Gary Van Lannen invited Deputy Clerk Cindy Kroll, Clerk Jeromy Delebreau, Attorney Tiffany Woelfel, and Treasurer Mae Micolichek to attend. 4. Convene Back into Open Session. Roll Call into Open Session: Dennis Kroll – Yes, Jeff Van Enkevort – Yes, Gary Van Lannen – Yes. 5. Discuss and Act on Closed Session. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll to approve the settlement agreement with Bobbie Krozell signed by her attorney. The motion was called and carried 3-0. Motion by Van Enkevort/Kroll approve settlement agreement with school giving the authority to Attorney Tiffany Woelfel when the school returns the settlement. 6. Adjournment to Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 7:21 pm. Van Lannen adjourned the meeting at 7:21 pm until Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
