Mayor Genisot called the City of Marinette Facade Improvement Program Review Committee meeting to order at 11 :00 A M in City of Marinette City Hall Common Council Chambers at 1905 Hall Ave., Marinette WI . 2. Upon a call of the roll it was determined a quorum of Marinette Facade Improvement Program Review Committee membership were present and the following attendance was recorded: Members Present : Mayor Genisot (Plan Commission Chairperson) ; Dr. Daniel Kallgren (Historic Preservation Committee Chairperson) At-Large Alderperson & Common Counc il President Dorothy Kowalski, Jan Kust , (Community Development Program Representative ); Public Works Director/City Engineer Miller and Finance Director/City Treasurer Miller . Members Absent/Excused : Others Present : Dave Anderson & Duane Sebero . 3. Approval of prior meeting minutes. Jan Kust, (Community Development Program Representative) moved / Finance Director /City Treasurer Miller seconded and all concurred to approve , as presented , the City of Marinette Facade Improvement Program Review Committee annual meeting minutes from 11 / 06 /2 5 . 4. Discussion and possible action re garding application Discussion and possible action regarding application for CY 2025 Fall Project at 1611 Main Street . The agenda packet included estimates and pictures of the repair work requested in the application. Dave Anderson was present to answer any questions the committee may have. Finance Director/City Treasurer Miller moved/ Public Works Director/City Engineer Miller seconded and all concurred to recommend the Common Counci l approve $11,375 of the requested $22,750 for masonry repairs and painting. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding application for CY 2026 Spring Project at 134 E. Russell Street, Leanne and Duane Sebero. Requested Summary of Eligible Improvement Total Cost Estimate $79,000. Council approved improvements grant of up to $25,000 . The agenda packet included estimates and pictures of the repair work requested in the application. D uane Sebero was present to answer any questions the committee may have. Daniel Kallgren (Historic Preservation Committee Chairperson) moved / Jan Kust, (Community Development Program Representative); seconded and all concurred to recommend the Common Council approve $ 25,000 of the requested $ 79,000 for restoration of masonry . 6 . Discussion and possible action regarding projects undertaken by the City to improve the Downtown and Menekaunee . The committee discussed remain ing funds that could be used for fall projects or any projects the city could improve in the downtown or Menekaunee areas that would qualify for a Façade Improvement grant. 7 .
