MINUTES INDUSTRIAL PARK OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2025 – 4:30 P.M. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, MUNICIPAL BUILDING Members present: Chair Mayor Katie Berman (non-voting), Keith Klimek, and Robert Warren Members excused: Joel Ahrens. Others Attending: Clerk-Treasurer Tammy Kasal, Attorney David Spangenberg, Public Works Director Matt Decur, and Parks & Recreation Director Lori Tonn. The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. Motion by Warren and seconded by Klimek to approve the agenda. Motion carried 2/0. Minutes: Motion by Warren and seconded by Klimek to approve the minutes of October 3, 2025. Motion carried 2/0. Correspondence to Industrial Park property and business owners: Mayor Berman presented letters to property and business owners within the Industrial Park. One is a Compliance & Collaboration Notice and the second is to recruit property and business owners for committee advisory positions. The letters were reviewed and updated (see attached). Motion by Warren and seconded by Klimek recommending Council approve the Compliance & Collaboration Notice and the letter of recruitment of property and business owners for committee advisory positions as amended. Motion carried 2/0. Closed Session Motion by Warren and seconded by Klimek to move into Closed Session per: A. WI S.S. 19.85(1)(e): Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the Investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive bargaining reasons require a closed session. - Industrial Park Properties. Motion carried 2/0. CLOSED SESSION 4:49 p.m. – 5:10 p.m. Motion by Warren and seconded by Klimek to move into Open Session. Motion carried 2/0. No action taken as a result of Closed Session.
